| Lot description: PHOENICIA, Tyre. Volusian. AD 251-253. Æ (23.5mm, 9.44 g, 12h). Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from the front / Tyche standing left, raising hand to mouth and holding cornucopia; altar to lower left, murex shell to lower right. RPC IX 2045 corr. (altar not described); Rouvier –; BMC –; AUB –. Dark brown patina, earthen deposits, a few flan flaws, cleaning scratches. VF. Extremely rare, only one known to RPC, one more at CoinArchives.
